One day National seminar on recent advances in Harappan Civilization was organized by DVS College of Arts and Science Shimoga on 30th January 2016.
Seminar was inaugurated by Honorable Vice Chancellor of Kuvempu University Prof. Jogan Shankar. Dignitaries Dr.T.Arun Raj, Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Bangalore Circle; Prof.Vasanth Shinde, Vice Chancellor, Deccan College, Pune; Prof. Nayanjot Lahiri, From Ashoka University; Shri.K.G.Subramanya, Dr.A.Sundara, Retd. Director, Depart of Archaeology and Museums in Karnataka, President DVS, Sri. S.P.Dinesh, Member DVS, Prof.T.S.Gopal organizing Secretary, Prof.K.G.Venkatesh, Coordinator and Dr.Geetha Samak, Principal DVS College of Arts and Science were present on the stage.
